Overview

The Korea Internet Address Dispute Resolution Committee("KIDRC") was established in accordance with the Article 16 of the Act on Internet Address Resources(enacted on January 20, 2004), with the aim to prevent Cyber-squatting in Internet Address and use of Internet Address in bad faith.

The KIDRC panels consist of justices, district attorneys, lawyers, professors, patent attorneys and researchers of good reputation with substantial experience and expertise in related issues involving Internet Address. The KIDRC currently is the sole dispute resolution provider for .kr and .한국 domain names. The Korea Internet & Security Agency("KISA") handles the administrative affairs of the KIDRC.
